would any mini2 members or none members be interested in 30mph to 130mph shoot out ? to see the r53 against r56 standard plus all the modified cars out there plus the tuners demo cars ? sort in too catagories ? as the mini is getting quite quick it would good to see how it compares to other makes of cars that do this sort of event one runway required

Would 30-100 be more realistic for std cars and One / Cooper owners?

How do you accuratly measure this sort of test??

Where else do can you see 30-130 events, is their a forum / database for it??

Maybe we could have a 0-100-0 challange on the same day??

i think (but may be wrong) that Lee is refering to entering 'Time Attack'. challenge .....that is a three? part event .....including corners!!!

Time Attack is basically qualifying except the qualifying is the reslt if that makes any sense, I believe it started in Japan

evos have one every year my mate enters it i could get the all the info on how the events run and the way its timed if we can get enough interest you might be right paul 30 to 100 for standard cars its is good safeish fun as your on a runway ; the evo lads seem to have agreat tmime they get a big turn out from standard all the way to 900 bhp monsters . the mitsubishi lancer register web site it should give you a good insight to howit works i realy hope we can get this off the ground and make it a yearly event

Just found this 30-130 6.19 secs to 27.44secs

I know the car I crew on runs the 1/8 mile in 5.3s at 135 so the 6.19 is some serious time
