Glad to see you are planning ahead Too many people I know go straight for engine mods and forget about handling etc or even brakes Don't know details on your request but good luck Plan it out well and you should succeed Just remember Prevention Is Better Than Cure ![]() More Air + More Fuel = More Power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well for the way I drive I actually find standard brakes fine for the moment. Obvisouly will be a future mod and I wouldn't ever track it with standard brakes. I think the GTT upper strut brace will also not only improve the handling like the coilovers will but also help the car get more power down in some situations, maybe this will be better money spent rather than increasing power?

I had the gtt manifold fitted last friday with a lightweight crank pulley. The car pulls really well and sounds awesome. To get a bit more power you could get the custom mth remap which is available through essentialmini.co.uk. Also larger injectors would be a good idea for safety at the top end of the rev range and larger throttle body. These mods should see you to 240bhp quite easily. Anything higher than 240 you will be looking at head and cam work which can be quite expensive. Best thing to do is talk to roland at gtt as he has been very helpfull. Hope this helps.

4-1 Manifold with sports cat, cylinder head, larger injectors, re-map if needed. Dont forget to upgrade the brakes. Handling can often mack up for the lack of power, so I also recomend a wider stance on the front (5mm or 15mm spacers) and strut braces to help. If you do the rear sway bar you can use it to make the car more neutral (less understeer). You can always add a front bar if you wanted to at a later date. - Thats the advice I have been given when suggesting I wanted a neutral handling MINI.

Hi, on the subject of handling I'll be putting together soon ,a GTT level 1 2 &3 Handling packages (fitted) . These will be based on experience & conclusions of 50% road use 50% track day use that weve put our car through , rather than out right track only (we can do that aswell it you want ....seam welding, weld in cage etc.). -No puny or weedy parts included at any level. ![]() Best Regards Roland GTT

I was in a similar position (GTT220 + GRS), I added the GTT top brace + already had the OMP lower brace and noticed a great difference/improvement in handling. Cars booked in with Roland for its yearly belt change + GTT Manifold in November; hopefully I'll gain a little more power / torque + even better noise GTT, GRS, Janspeed, JCW, OMP + various other bits - 232.6bhp, 191.2lbft on 1320's rolling road
