the best thing I can offer right now is the 300 hp mini video... if you watch the speedo at the end that's kinda what it's like... ... so untill I have camera and air strip (yes plausible there's one I have access to but is a day away) it's going to be a while... though I think StoopidGirl's photo camera can take short video clips... so I'll see what I can do..

twincharge... I may go turbo only eventually... we'll see... I almost did a year ago... but money needed to go other places.. however I do so love the low end TQ from the TC... but you need proper tires or you just light em up.. so... it's a catch 22... The FMIC is a must with any set up like this though that is for sure

OK so it's a little tricky with the CVT cause naturally it wants to down shift even in manual mod when you wood it... so... you have to sorta roll into it for all you CVT folks and dont hit "the button" when you really push it all the way down you know?

It's rather warm and muggy tonight I think if it was cooler she has a little more in it.. and mind you this is on a full tank and with all the crap MLE keeps in that car !

Sooooo, Long story short... the average for this car is...

11.16 (Tüls HKS CAI, 215/40/17 S heavies, 04 CVT GB)
much better than I expected!

New times

Results since I had the head gasket and head replaced (standard).

Before

Outside temp: 6C (Moist)
Fuel: Tesco 99 (1/4 tank)
Tyres: Yokohama Parada (2mm left) 215/40/17
Wheels: S-Lites

0-60: 6.6 seconds
0-100: 16.7 seconds
30-70: 5.7 seconds
50-70: 3.2 seconds
AccelerativeG: 0.41
60ft: 2.8 seconds
1320ft: 15.6 seconds
1320mph: 96.4 mph
30-70 (3rd gear): 5.9 seconds

After:

Outside temp: 9.5C (Dry)
Inlet temp: 18C
Water temp: 88C
Fuel: Tesco 99 (Full tank)
Tyres: Goodyear Eagle F1's (2 weeks old) 215/45/17
Wheels: S-Lites

0-60: 6.8 seconds
0-100: 15.2 seconds
30-70: 5.4 seconds
50-70: N/A seconds
AccelerativeG: 0.57
60ft: 2.9 seconds
1320ft: 15.3 seconds
1320mph: 97.3 mph
30-70 (3rd gear): 6.1 seconds

Not sure why the 30-70 in 3rd was slower but the rest of the times have improved which is great considering I ran this time with a full tank.

Mini-Morgan please adjust my best 50-70 time to 5.9 as the previous 5.7 was through the gears (sorry)

You've put a taller tyre on which wont help plus 60lb weight difference in fuel.

OK, new improved time. Best pair average: 6.20s. Not thrilling, but starts to be in the right ball park with other benchmarks:

Jaw_F430 : 6.05 (05gb,15%,Bigger I/C +other mods)
BigShow : 6.075 (03gb, Lohen 225, manifold)
Edenalig : 6.15 (02gb, 15%, MTH, Alta CAI, Manifold, Miltek)

Improvement might be due to colder temperature (-2.5C) or lighter car (1/3 tank vs full tank)...or then BMW accidentally fixed some problems while playing around with my car (and officially not finding any faults).

Note. Both tests are with heavy 205/45/17 winter runflat tyres and OZ Superturismos. I presume that with my 215/40/17 F1s and Ultraleggeras the time might still improve a notch.

Right i went out an did 5 runs 30 - 70

5.7
5.2
4.6
4.9
5.0

BTW i think the 4.6 was a bit of a wild card tbh, but we did have a skip of the front wheels half way through the 5.7 run
