Unfortunatleythe only head wehavehad on our dyno is the Fireballed stage 2 head, this is what we using when we run the 13.09 @ 104.5, it made on ourdyno 219.9whp and 250bhp at 3ambefore that run.

Unfortunatley I have never had the following on the dyno though there are customers who are on the verge are getting these;

Fireballed Mary Head MINI COOPER :: North American Motoring - FIREBALLED! RACING - The "PROJECT" formerly known as "MARY"

RMW Head MINI COOPER :: North American Motoring - 231.9WHP with new big valve head. Stock cam and ECU.

Obviously Rolands stage2 head produced these results http://www.mini2.com/forum/engine-dr...ow-graphs.html

I believe Rolands has a stage 4 cylinder head available now.

We can arrange the American heads for you without a problem.

Once we get the rev limiter put up to 7500 I'll do some runs on Lees car for you. Its all very well for a tuner to use his own 'tweaked to the limit' cars to get good times but its what the conversions off the production line that are of higher importance to you guys. His car is on the road it just wants to rev. The stock 6800 rev limit is way to low for this conversion. 30-65 in second gear (wheelspinning) on a very inaccurate quick burst was about 3.5 seconds. before it hit the limiter.

Best Regards Roland GTT

Its amazingI recommend someone one of your products and all you can do is knock me

Once again we have you assuming that we put the 15% and 17% on and tuned the engine, guess what we didn't

Another nice thing about the Alta pulley is that you can change pulley size at the track if you're as talanted as Thomas

Dont forget Roland that the test is in 3rd not 2nd so you dont have to worry about moving the rev limit, hopefully it'll be dry enough for you to give us some results later, good luck.

Whats the problem now?
What Im saying is ANY tuners own car (including me with my own GTT300T) 'may' perform marginally better than a customers car 'off the production line' . Also applys to new cars put forward by manufacturers for reveiw/testing. Thats why I tested Lees car rather than our own demo car.
If you & me are tweaking all the time testing things & adjusting things thats a good thing.

Will fitting any of the above heads have any significant affect on reliability? Or has not enough testing been done?

How much does the fireballed stage 2 head cost and is it on exchange basis?

Paul asked me the following via PM on NAM

How many miles have you done with the head now??

When are you next out on a track day??

Just over 16,000 miles since the RMW head was installed. I have head # 2

Next track day is Nov 17. Had to cancel this weekends outing since I damaged the splitter, bumper cover and brake ducts. Will take about 2 weeks to fix.

The IC will be changed before the next track date. Migrating from the M7 DFIC to a GP IC.

Thanks Gnatster.

So there you go James straight from the horses mouth, I forgot to ask him how many dynos his been on and how much whp it made, If I remember rightly he's been on 5 different dynos in 3 states and the results ranged in the 220-230whp.

The Mary head as far as I know hasn't as yet got any or a lot of miles on it but the valves springs and retainers come from the same manufacture.

I'm sure Roland will chime in about his cylinder head.
