| Excellent idea apart from the stop watch / human element. First M45 Cooper S to run a 12 (12.96@105) On Nitrous 11.16@123 0-100 7.1991 ![]() http://www.1320MINI.co.uk |

| True but I couldnt think of another accurate way which enough people would be able to do. Also if people average their times it shouldnt be tooooo bad. I'm certainly interested to see the difference to stock.... |
| |||
| 2004 210JCW with GRS cooler 1/2 tank fuel 215/35/18 tyres. average of 4 runs 7.05 seconds,thats taken by cruising at 30 then flooring it. times from 35 to 75mph are quicker, 6.4 seconds average. I seem to have a slow pick up around the 30 to 35mph. Seems like i need a Lightweight oversized crank pulley: ![]() Does anybody know who can fit one in the north east area,GTT is a long way to go. |
| ||||
| Some good times guys! ![]() I really need to do a couple more runs now I have my new manifold on and now i'm back with the Tesco 99. Need to keep the variables as similar as possible..... I did a run the other night with someone else in the car and timed 6.0 but only timed once so not as accurate. |
| ||||
| This could be a difference we cant account too much for..... what temp was it? Mine being a facelift picks up really well too but the difference between them on the road doesnt seem to be too much. |
| ||||
| I know the 0-100 times dropped significantly on the facelift cars. Temp was 12 degrees C and I was running V-Power which I've only started using. Pre 225 upgrade I used Tesco 99 as the car seemed to run better on it but Lohen said to go with V-Power when I spoke to them last week... might try a few tanks of 99 and re-run. I also made sure I let the car cool down with a nice run before conducting the next time run as it seemed to help. |

| 205/50-15 and 05 gearbox with lsd / quaife is probably perfection, alsobeing light as possible will help. Might get a chance to play tomorrowdepending on the weather First M45 Cooper S to run a 12 (12.96@105) On Nitrous 11.16@123 0-100 7.1991 ![]() http://www.1320MINI.co.uk |

| Autocar tested the facelift car: 0-60 7.1 secs 0-100 18.5 secs 30-70 6.5 secs I think the pre-facelift cars were doing 0-100 in about 20.5 secs. Autocar tests its 30-70 time through the gears rather than in 3rd so by having the benchmark figure above maybe we should do the same. I'll try it in 2nd tomorrow and see what times I can post. |
