There are some advantages off being old (feet and inches),there's a lot of references in drag / hot rod films "you going up the 1320 this weekend" took me ages to suss it out as well

i thought it was the year paul started racing? wayyy back in the old days of yaww the wheel just been invented and paul and a VERY young tom put a donkey at the back of a cart and bingo the first rear engined cart! mind you the mods done to that poor donkey i never knew a bora exz could sound like that but once it was lowered it look good... messy but good!
