| MCS Performance Manifold Due to have a performance manifold and high performance cat fitted in just over a week; based on your experience what should I expect? Current modifications detailed in sig. Improved mid to high rev range performance? Slightly increase noise level (hopefully) ? GTT, GRS, Janspeed, JCW, OMP + various other bits - 232.6bhp, 191.2lbft on 1320's rolling road |

| All depends on whose manifold and cat and your current mod list. You'll defintley have an increase in noise level ![]() First M45 Cooper S to run a 12 (12.96@105) On Nitrous 11.16@123 0-100 7.1991 ![]() http://www.1320MINI.co.uk |

| Update: Following on from my earlier post I had my yearly belt change + GTT manifold and boost gauge fitted on Saturday by Roland. Roland gave my MCS a clean bill of health before and after fitting + we record an impressive 30-70mph 3rd gear acceleration time of about 5.7 seconds .I’m really pleased with the manifold as it seems to have smoothed out the power delivery slightly and the car seems even keener to rev (especially at higher revs). Noise wise its spot on, in conjunction with the previously installed re-route pipe the noise is perfect i.e. not too loud when cruising at 70 – 80 mph ish but raspy when playing. One thing that Roland did notice (and fix) was that my oil level was slightly high ; not good considering the last oil change was performed by a dealer. I normally check to make sure the level is not low rather than too high ….Something worth bearing in mind Oh and the boost gauge is a neat bit of kit. I already had a Scanguage2 which is great bit of kit (especially for the money) but you can’t beat an analogue gauge (i.e. much easier to read quickly). Not sure what my next mod will be as the car now feels pretty much spot on in my opinion; I seem to remember I said this before ….. | Very good ![]() Nice and easy to read without taking your eyes off the road + interesting to watch ![]() Also useful to know I'm generating the correct levels of boost i.e. 15-17psi GTT, GRS, Janspeed, JCW, OMP + various other bits - 232.6bhp, 191.2lbft on 1320's rolling road |
