Thats great news!!

I would like to thank to all who have supplied me with parts and advice over the year and my biggest help is my wideband co2 sensor and my EGT sensors!!

Its good news as I have only ever tuned and set the car up using the real road.

Roll on the new year, Im tuned enough for now so its wheels and a one off brakes and suspension setup next for me!

Roland fitted the pulley and modified the bypass valve for the 210 conversion, since then he has not even seen the car!

I did it myself!! Which makes it even nicer to beat you! Only kidding chap, im sure you will now be empting your bank account just to get the edge!!

For me my minis tuning is done, Im now working up a 300 bhp smart car for drag racing!

Hmmm... I'd be interested to know what you plan to do to your SmartCar to up the performance, as my other car (currently being driving around by my girlfriend) is a 600cc turbocharged SmartForTwo.

Although, I assume you'll be modifying a Roadster/Coupe version of the car?

All the best,
Andrew.

Im working on a four 2 version not the roadster.

It was a coupe with the roof removed, full cage to go in and a vag turbo engine and box in the rear

I did consider a Cooper S engine but Its expensive to get power past 210

The big problem with the 600cc turbo engine is oil sludge, with no drain hole in the sump the sludge remains, clogs the oil control rings and then things go wrong!

If not that its one of the 6 spark plugs that fall apart and wedge down the side of the piston!

And thats if the timing chain, cam and followers dont brake first! You can tell I have rebuilt a few smart engines!!
