From what i hear, either Lohen or GT Tuning are the places to go

Take a look at the various sponsors web sites.

Obviously lots of folk on here have had some tuning done and have their own particular favourites, GTT, Lohen, 1320, Mini Mania etc.

What spec is your car at the moment?

Be carefull - it can get expensive, be clear on what you want and why you want it !!!

In Italy

I would plump for 1320 or GTT myself.... however Lohen are good, but I would not bother with the Bluefin remap. Most Ss run a fuel map that is perfectly fine with 15% reduction and the right spark plugs.

I'd go for a 15% reduced pulley and protector...

1320 do a top quality job... They can dyno the car for you too so that you can see your gains...

Ditto what Loui said, although 1320 can dyno your car before and after too so you can see the gains.

****ing my sides laughing here. I don't think you could have asked a more problematic question, especially in our current climate of freindly banter here in MINI2. Nah, it's not that bad.

When you are dealing with 200bhp the i think you have many options available to you. Of course, some are better than others regarding price and quality.

I strongly suggest you make your own mind up, ask other members and see what experience they have had with different vendors.

But i have to ask, please do not ask vendors directly, because as soon as one says "choose me", all the other vendors will attack !!!

Enjoy your search :-)

PS. I have nothing to do with the GTT brand, although i do have a GTT tattoo on my but, apparently !!!

Cheers,
K.

Too many mods to list, PM me if the cat needs killing...

That is "butt" not "but" and shame on you for bypassing the swear filter (post edited).

It is controversial but doable. Pulley, is probably the biggest and only thing that is going to bump you up hard in hp. After that, I recommend a remap. Many here will dismiss this, but you can get more power out of a proper remap and it will pull the car more to a drivable center. I use MTH and recommend them with the understanding that their customer service is crap. As for Bluefin, I suggest you avoid them as I have not heard nor seen great things. GTT offers a good little package for the money and I have heard that Roland does great work.

Go with 19% pulley and panel filter and you will be very satisfied for the price. Believe me.
Of course new spark plugs and belt too.

There is no need for a map tbh, my car makes 203whp 241bhp with a stock map.

Da flake is right that a map will make you get the most from the car, but im not keen on generic maps as each car will run differently to a degree IYGWIM, id wait for one of the tuners to get live mapping facilites. I know 1320 should have this option soon enough. All i say is keep watching the forum at present
