Difficult one to answer Karl, it just depends how anal you are

When we're looking for 1/100ths a 1/10th is a lifetime

How far do you think you can travel in a 1/10th of a sec at 100 + mph?? Answer 20 inches

So if you're logging fo on the track and want to monitor what all 4 corners of the suspension and all 4 brakes are doing every 20 inches is a lot IMO.

Again its how anal you want to be and how much you want to anaylise info, whether it makes you a better driver or your car handle and brake better with interperating the info provided to your advantage is another question

The biggest problem you usually see is when people have a little info they always wished they had more.

Some spend $10k to monitor a car for 7.8secs

Hello again

OK, then i guess this satisfies my concern. I really only want to indicate any general problems and i think that 1 second intervals is more than enough for this. I won't be using it for performance tuning analysis - for one thing, i haven't a clue what i'm doing

For me, the purpose of this tool is to monitor if there are any general changes in the attributes drive after drive - more of a health checker. And with the 2 additional sensors, i hope to get very accurate data to base my concerns on.

So, with all that said, i guess this tool is a good one for me.

Time to find that key 3rd person so we can get a 10% discount

Cheers,
K.

I've just emailed them to find out

The unit is quote neat, with great playback of data, and also includes 3 programable warning lights.

Cheers,
K.

So it can connect a wideband AFR controller and two more external sensors? Seems just what I need, I can then hook it up qith AFr, EGt and knock sensors...if only I knew about aftermarket knock sensors or how to connect to the stock one, that is...

We're an authorized Auterra dealer and I'll be happy to work with you guys if you want to put a group purchase together. Just keep the pricing discussion over on email and off the forums. Email link is available on our website in the left margin.
