does anyone know what is involved in the 1st inspection @ 25000 miles as part of the TLC pack, As mine will be due shortly i'm wondering what they will make of any performance mods that i have made..

Read the T&Cs on the booklet (if you have one). No performance modifications allowed.










Although some dealers will turn a blind eye.

look at it as a oil and filter change + visual inspection, mines at 28 k and due soon as well, dealer has had 1k out of me for other work [accident damage] and were happy to work on car so cant see them changing tune now,
you will have to take it on the chin if your mods cause any warrentee issues, otherwise i would not worry,

id be suprised if they mention it! If its TLC or warranty based without an inspector then I bet 99% of garages will put it through. Its money for the garage after all

Well the car over 3 years old & if i owned the garage i would only be interested in the money that i can get from mini in return for the tlc voucher !!!.

mines due in 2600 miles, see if they notice any of my mods....

MI MCS been modded for 4.5 years of its 5 year life (and i mean modded heavily)
Im on the TLC XL now and its never been knocked back because of its mods for service
I even told them not to change the spark plugs, Supercharger pulley belt and brake fluid as i had them changed recently before its last service

Scotthalls have done warranty work on all three of the modified MINIs I have owned without one word about the mods. Well except a couple of months ago that asked if id had it remapped as they wanted to load a new map and needed to check first. Same for TLC too! Although my next TLC is in the next 3k miles....
