Lohen 64mm Throttle Body

Hello,
Im after some help regarding the above item please guys. Had this fitted a couple of weeks ago along with a bucket full of other mods and ever since I collected my car the tickover has been dodgy as hell to say the least! It even stalls at traffic lights or junctions! Ive already spoken to 1 member on here who comfirms his was the same after fitting the said item. Ive spoken to Lohen and they said it could either be this or infact the car needing to have a remap due to the mods fitted! Im planning on removing the throttle body myself on Sunday and putting the standard one back on to see for sure if its this but I would like to know if anybody else on here has had the same sort of problems with this item before I go ahead.
Cheers
Gregg

I know we had issues with a JCW map, we done back to back test with a std ecu an it was spot on, the owner has had a stock re-flashed into his ecu.

I would go ahead with the Sunday plan, one change at a time

Im in the middle of sorting out the following from Roland @ GT Tuning which hopefuly will be getting fitted to my GP in April / May,
Stage 4 head
Shrick cam
440cc Injectors
AFPR
My plan is to get the car custom remapped after all this has been finished and only if its really needed!

Why not the Lohen cnc head

Does GTT270 know that you're going make 25bhp more than him

My goal is anything between the 275 and 295bhp mark, and im certainly not doing it just to beat other members on here
My original plan was to split the mods between Lohen and GT Tuning and Im sticking to it

Always good to have focus on exactly what you want! And very deep pockets too!

Not the first enlarged throttle body problem ive heard this week but with that much change in one go i'd give Lohen the chance to try and fix it. Might just be a bad MAP sensor connection or possibly an air leak. Hope you get it all sorted! Its going to be a monster

Personally I think its a good to stay with the same tuning company, whether its Lohen, 1320's GTTuning, West Tuning etc, this way the tuner chosen will know your car, going between tuners isn't I feel recommended, because there's a good chance one tuner won't agree with what another tuner has already done to your car - seen this so many times in the passed. But of course the choice is yours

Your quest for 295 BHP is do-able with the stock supercharger for sure!!

If you serious call Gintani, on the other side of the pond, and they CAN make it happen.

You are going to experience a problem with that large TB until you can get a live tune that can adjust the tables in the ECU to account for more air coming in...with the stock ECU tables it caculates that at a certain position of the TB only so much air is going to pass, now that you have a bored out TB, it's letting more air pass by and the computer gets confused and starts doing silly things. Make sence??? I would encourage you to re-install the stock TB back on until you have the opportunity to get a good tune.

Most companies do the enlarged Throttle Body on an exchange basis - so that they have your old one to bore out for the next customer.

In Italy

I totally agree mate because it's already happening with me over Spark Plugs
I just feel GT Tunings Stage 4 head is the better one.
This is obviously just my personal view after reading up about it and the one that Lohen offer
