K&N for R53 JCW

Evening.

I did a search but couldnt find anything on the subject, so as the title says, does anybody know if you can get a K&N Panel filter to fit the JCW airbox on a R53 Cooper-S?

If you can, could you point me in the right direction please?

TIA

Alex

The JCW airbox doesn't have a panel filter, it has a pod filter.
You can get K&N style pod filters for it if thats what your after.

Aaahhh my bad.

But yeah, that would be the sort of thing i'd be after. Just a K&N unit to replace the standard item.

Do you have a link at all?

The ITG filter will do just as good job, I got mine for £46 delivered. I never had the paper filter in from the start so can't comment on the difference.

Fits perfect for me, although I took out all the electronic flappery stuff as well.

You'll know what I mean when you change it but the triangular hole that the bracket uses was a little small and required a little cutting but I think it's meant to be that way so you end up with a tight fit.
