But on top of the engine from the S you need a host of other bits too including Bonnet (for the scoop), & new front panel. Then you'll need to reposition the battery in the boot. There is a full list on here somewhere of what's required, but it's not insignificant as the engine bay layout is very different on the S.
The internals of the Mini One and Cooper will take the turbo but only on low boost.
My brother is about to put a set of quad throttle bodies on his Mini One from Mini Matt, it should be around the 200bhp mark, plus the sound of those things are to die for!
or why not supercharge the one engine, pointless, but cheap. I only suggest that as a couple of guys on the SEAT site have recently supercharged their mk2 ibiza Gtis using the MCS supercharger and it was relatively DIY and cheap. but exepnsive if you want loads of powr
