Hi,

Thanks in advance

Yes it looks like it could be a lsd. Is it from a facelift MINI transmission?

I don't know, I bought it from a German Ebayer and he claims to be an LSD (he seems a genuine man) but all I see between the output shaft gears is a planetary gear not a clutch packs nor a ramp, etc. as it's supposed to. So unless it's a different system it doesn't look like an LSD but I need to be sure before I return the part and request my money back.

It does not look like a stock open diff to me. It's diff cage is 2 piece not one and the diff pin is recessed(for another thrust surface. Somebody will chime in to help us out.

Here's a peek at my stock open diff with the phantom grip kit layed out.

Thanks guys! Anyone willing to give a more definitive answer? I really need to tell or I'll have to return it.

Does not look like a MINI LSD if you ask me. However, it does look like an LSD of some sort.

Here is the Quaife

Maybe one of the tuners know, they are the ones who see these more than us?

Hi Rolland, thanks for your reply. The supplier told me it came from his Mini Cooper S that he had ordered from factory with LSD...

It looks just like Bhozar's LSD.
