What hose is this into the supercharger?

In the attached picture what is that hose and what is its significance? Is that the hose that an oil catch can would intercept to get blow back from the crank case?

Its a manufacturing requirement. You arent allowed to vent anything to air that hasnt been through the combustion chamber. Turbo recirculates, PCVs, fuel tank gas storage.

Required? I dont believe so. Cant think of a real use but you will end up with a oil soggy filter if you dont do it right.
