Darrin - i think that sounds like more work than its worth, and expense. As much as i'd love all that gear I live in a flat so have no where to store it

I know what you mean about the satisfaction part though I used to own old minis and did most work on that, likewise with my old motorbike.

Batou - thats prefect, i've pm'd them for some more details, perfectly close too

Best off giving them a bell (01234 376089) as think they are pretty stacked at the moment . I've used them for my car before and I won't go anywhere else! So pleased with the results! I have a mate who hated the Mini Cooper S with a passion but after having a few rides before and after the mods he was blown away!

Cheers mate, what mods have you got and what sort of power did you get back?

Just getting a mobile phone on that number at the moment, must be stacked

It's re-directed to Pauls mobile, they can be hard to get hold of sometimes! Well I spent a little bit extra picking OE parts I wanted (stock looking inside and out but some extra grunt) however the best route is described on that earlier link. Best of chatting to them about what you want from the car and they'll know where to start.

I got 235bhp/173ft/lbs for around £1500-1600 but as I said I went with expensive OE JCW/GP parts so it can be done much cheaper . I'm yet to find out what some of the other additions have gained

There isn't a single place here in Perth (apart from Mini directly of course), where you can take your Mini to get some work done.

Neither is there in brisbane, but its nice to have a mini mechanic mate

Nice! That's almost just as good!

I'd get my Mini mechanic mate to install a Pulley Kit and Cold Air Induction for me. Haha.
