Question need an intake

need an intake for my coming CS, does anyone know of a good one?
give me part no. or sizes or something.....
K&N is good but which one?
i know i'm dumb but help out plz

cant i get a K&N filter and get a separate heat shield.... which ones r the best?

I am going with the BMP they seem to be saying they got alot out of there cold air kit,and they also make very nice products as well.

What about the BMP Cold air intake?? They are claiming almost 13 hp increase. I realize those numbers can be fuged however I would still like to see more info comparing it with rogue's filter. Them BMP filter is almost a hundred dollars less as well!

The waits over!! Frosted the Mini Cooper S arrived 11/05/02!!!

I talked with Al today and the cold air kit is being polished,and final touches being made, and will be ready to ship in a couple of weeks

But do they have anything supporting thier 13hp gain?? How did they do testing for this intake?

one of the users on here did a test between the rogue CAI and the bmp and the bmp was something like a few car lengths faster i just cant remember who it was now... maybe theyl respond.

Presurized Mini, I'm in Greenville SC, and would appreciate taking a look at your intake after installation. I'm hoping Santa will bring me an intake a few weeks after delivery

I think a re-test of Rogue vs. BMP with the larger air intake openning as I suggested before we know which is really best. The standard Rogue setup takes all of its air in through a small openning - a quick fix and the difference can be easily felt.
