Arrow What Back Box?

Right, after a few posts on here (thanks everyone) and seeing the guy who keeps my Mini running smoothly I think I'm understanding now!!

All I'm after is a new back box. I'm understanding that they can cut the existing pipe and weld the new box onto it as the Mini exhaust is in one long stretch all the way from the Cat. That's why the actual Mini exhausts are so expensive, coz you have to buy the whole length.

Now I've been looking around and the Scorpion Imola seems to be ok, in my price range (£200 tops). I'm not after anything performance enhancing, and as long as it's as loud as the stock mini exhaust I'm fine.

Does the Imola sound nicer than the stock one? Are there any other options for back box's only?

Any help would be great, I'm c*^p with decisions!

Thanks,

James.

i don't think they have to cut the exhaust, on a standard mini the manifold/cat is one piece and the rest of it is another piece, so you only need the cat back, there are quite a few options for that, I've been looking into changing mine so i'll be interested to see what people recommend too.

You'll find that most MINI exhausts on the market are 'cat-back'

The choice is huge, Miltek, John Cooper Works, Janspeed, Borla, Quicksilver - the list is long and extensive.

Search for them using the search field up the top - find some reviews, and check out Youtube for sound clips. Then phone for prices, and make your choice
