gearbox parts and torque settings

i am in the process of rebuilding a 52 cooper gearbox

I was wondering if anyone had the torque figures for the gearbox mainly the large nuts on the end of the shafts and also the ring of torque bolts that holds the sector mechanism onto the bellhosuing. you know the one. the one you have to remove to get the diff out.

Has anyone found a good source for buying sapre parts. I need a new laygear and also 3rd gear. im told many of the parts are the same as a rover pg1 box.

I have been told there is a mod to the diff crown wheel with pinning etc. what exactly is done and if anyone has any details that would be good so i can get my local engineering comany to do it for me.

Are the works gears and=y stronger or just differnt ratio's.

thanks dave

i tried looking on real oem and it did not list gearbox internals for my car only complete boxes and the parts accessable from the outside like the clutch release shaft. Tried looking on pelican but without any numbers then it was difficult and still could not see anything.

will try minimania. thanks
