| At the moment--It is going ot be hard to save that kinda money--LSD+Labor=over 1500 bux--OUCH.
So I was looking for alternatives and came across a company called Phantom Grip. They have a write up in Sport Compact Car. They are using it on the Project 200 SX. I am not a technical guy when it comes to diffs, but I got this from someone who did an install
"The Phantom Grip itself is a couple of machined blocks with a hold for the differential pin and four springs the will press the blocks against the spider gears. This pressure will cause both tires to spin but in a corner they can turn like normal."
Now I dont know if they are making it for our COopers, they have one for the old school ones, and I have no idea really about any long-term reliability(doing more research) but some of the things I have read are positive and some are negative----Ill keep you all posted.
