Problem with PULLY!???

So i recently bought a Alta 15% reduction pulley from a web site when i went to put it on i ran into the problem i need a special tool. my buddy tried the old pulley off but it didn't budge. so i ordered the tension tool and the pulley puller. when i installed it. it went on fine the belt i put on was brand new also i received from Napa. now i drove it about 6-700 miles and on the high way the belt broke and when i pulled into a gas station it was leaking something. it also makes a weird noise ever since the new pulley went on.. what could be wrong or just does it need a new belt?

Maybe you pulled the shaft out of the supercharger, This would then make the belt run out of line and start to frey, then snap.
Your supercharger drives the waterpump so you may have got the mini alittle hot.

Can you measure the first rib again the blower case in any way?
