New to mini scene

Hi guys recently brought mini and have fallen madly in love with it much to the dissapointment of my girfriend .i then began itching to start upgrading it so Went and brought alta v2 17% reduction pulley and had fitted by girlfriends brother who works for BMW and recently opened new garage. Fitting went fine he said but when I turn car on you can hear a high pitch squeal coming from the pulley. Alwys let engine warm up before driving but still there. Give it 10 mins when temp is at optimum and noise fades away slightly. Was just wondering if any one else had similar problem? Would it be pulley or belt are out of line ?

Pulley is probably out of line, what puller did he use?

I haven't got a clue mate is it easily done? Thanks for reply by the way will be heading 1320 at some point this year
