MCS (r53) power output problem

Greetings from remote Finland,
being a novice mini (r53) owner I need to turn to forum experts for an advice.
I run a dyno test with my mini and the output was a little confusing. The wheel power output is just fine and sufficent(at least for now ) but the slump in the curve looks ugly. (please see a foto attached)
What could be the problem and more importantly the remedy?
I am guessing bypass valve ?

Any thoughts

best regards,
-pasi-

Well, my guess would be the dyno operator is the problem. Your hp/tq curves don't intersect at 5252rpm which looks to be a problem with how the dyno was setup.

hi ya

for an r53 it's a little low I think. did the dyno guys set all the pressures and temps of the day before the run
how many runs did you do ? the DME needs a few good hard runs before you get anything worth looking at. as it adapts to your driving if you have been chugging round town it will back of the DME to suit your driving style.
I would always make shore the bypass valve is closing properly it's a job you can do your self if you are ok with the tool. and if it's not closing properly it's free power :-)
you also may find if your supercharger belt has not been changed it my be slipping always worth a look. check the holes in the stop should have one visible.
check your air filter is good also your spark plugs

hope this helps

Thanks guys,
the spring is coming to Helsinki eventually and I want my car to be ready for dry roads. I am taking the car to another dyno run at another expert. Let's see if the results are different...
