Thumbs up Sportex exhaust

Hi guys,
Just joined the forum and would like some opinions from anyone who knows about Sportex exhausts. I have an r50 One but as we all know the engine leaves a lot to be desired! I have fitted a pipercross induction kit, ordering a bluefin remap and am looking for an exhaust system. I have noticed some sportex systems for around £340 which includes cat back and a manifold which bypasses the cat. I had a MK3 Golf GTI with a supersprint backbox and noticed the throttle response was better but it was very expensive. Has anyone had a sportex system or know of someone who has and if so what was the sound, performance and life span like?
look forward to hearing back!!
Cheers

I don't think a lot of people use them.

I heard the milltek and scorpion equivalents are very good though.

It's not always 100% accurate but the saying you buy cheap you buy twice saying is not often wrong!

Thanks for the feedback guys! I've decided to hold off for a bit, get some more funds in the money tin then go for a Janspeed mainfold (de cat pipe also) and hopefull a piper cat back system.
