so i need to upgrade my spark plugs this spring since my fuel milage is crap and i suspect the plugs are the 20% causing the 80 % of the issues. I have been looking into the different technologies out there and there are two that stand out
1. the pulstar series of puls plugs Pulstar :: The world's best, most powerful sparkplug.
2. the pilot nitrode bridge series. Nitrode Spark Plugs - The Most Powerful Spark Plug in the World!
both of these seem to be a definite improvement on standard spark plugs how ever i can't find dyno comparisons between the two and they both claim to be the best plug in the world, backed by independent research.
so i have one question that i can't answer. Would the hotter spark from the pulse plug be able to ignite more initial surface area with a smaller spark gap than the the nitrode bridge style that has double the spark surface of a normal plug?
no doubt the pulse plug is superior in power output, but any size spark still ignites fuel and imo which ever plug creates the largest initial flame kernel wins.
Whats your opinion?
Do you run either of these plugs? if so feedback plz
