pipercross airfilter!!

was just looking at my pipercross filter the other day and was wondering if anyone had noticed this..as u know the filter is stuck at a right angle,dont think air likes corners?would this poss slow the car down with its bad air intake?

Mini Mucker some people had the same feeling as u about the right angle in the pipercross airfilters, they changed the design on newer filters and there is no right angle now. I dont know whether it would really make much difference between the right angle and non angle versions, Might be worth trying the two filters out at the Dyno day on one car?

Hi MM got the filter today. It fits completly the opposite way to the pipercross filters. Gonna get a ram pipe coming off the inlet from the front to the filter, car feels like its got more tourque and it makes a serious noise over 4500 revs sort of scooby flat four warble sort of noise very different to the pipercross filters

Yep its the K&N for the coopers. There about £90 from minispares i think but i bought this off Dinkadonka. Hes only had it a couple of months but hes having a S so it had to go
