Air Intake Resonator Delete

Hello!

I have a facelift 1st Gen cooper, wanting to remove the air intake resonator and fit a straight pipe from the scoop to the air box.

The only issue I have is removing the resonator itself, and am looking for anyone who has done this to give me some advice. I have found a few forum posts which do talk about it, and I can make it all wiggle and move, but not come off!

If anyone has detailed instructions and even photos, that would be amazing!

Just to clarify im trying to remove #11 and #15 from the diagram below.
(I cant post url's, so add realoem dot com to the beginning of the address below)

Honestly if i can just get #11 out thats all I need to give myself room for the new pipe.
