Exhaust brackets/straps

Hi all

This couldn't happen at a worse time but I need a new exhaust from the cat - back. I am waiting to start a new job so money is really tight. I have found an exhaust to get me by for now on ebay 284.99 so it will have to do for now. What I am struggling with is where to get the brackets or straps etc to actually hold the exhaust in place and prevent rattles etc as most of mine have actually come off. It's currently just being held on by one bracket on left centre side and basically the rear heat shield.

Any advice of where to get the brackets from would be so greatly appreciated

I have a 2004 Mini Cooper S

The brackets for the exhiast are not very costly parts, I would recommend buying them from the main dealer due to best fitement and best quality

Thanks for the replies.

I can get a custom made stainless steel exhaust from the cat back made and fitted for 450 from Custom Pipes in Doncaster. It comes with lifetime guarantee too.

I am waiting for a fully fitted price from Powerflow. They have quoted 350+VAT but I am unsure if that includes fitting. Am awaiting clarification. Will update you all when I know.

Hi all

Well I have had my exhaust sorted. I got a Powerflow exhaust from TopGear Performance in Doncaster. It was like a work of art watching them custom make it. Am very pleased and the car sounds so nice and has more grunt about it. Cost me 420 fully fitted for cat back system.
