| Cylinder head and cams are more likely to make the car faster off the line than increase top speed as this is really down to how the cars geared. It may also make the car rev faster and more but the power may not be at the top of the rev range. My mate had a lot of cylinder head work and a cam on his XR3i the thing just kept reving would rev to 7500 revs but the power wasnt there it was much lower around 5500 revs so if u do get it done have it rolling roaded as u will see where the power is and where it begins to fall off. |
