How's the light weight fly-wheel doing?

After visiting the local mini shop for my 10k service, I was able to hold the stock flywheel in my hands for the first time (it was from another mini with a motor that got totalled in an accident)
Wow was that thing heavy. How are the prototype flywheels coming? Any need to change the car software to run it?

Thanks for any help; the tax return is probably gonna be spent on this.

I think Moss Mini has one now, possibly BMP as well?? They seem to be in the $479-$500 range...

We put one in jlm's MCS along with a quaife 6-8 weeks ago. From all acounts he seems pretty happy. The new flywheel tipped the scales @ 9-10 lbs. if I remember it correct. You could do a search to find his original comments.

All the best,

Chris

Any news about a high performance clutch(with spring) to complement the light flywheel?
