| So Ohio Pulley Install I've been in touch with Randy at mini motorsport;if we can get enough people,he'll come to southern Ohio and do pulleys for only$400.I have wanted the pulley for my MCS,but I've been quoted $800,labor only from shops without Randy's level of experiance.I'll be at the Monday Mini gathering in Columbus to drum up support and offer more info.If you're at the Columbus meet,I have a dark silver MCS Ohio tag XS CAR |

| I'm in Akron and I might be persuaded to make a trip to Columbus. We can make a real party out of it if you're interested. If you join the BMWCCA there's a high speed driving school at Nelson's Ledges late July. Very reasonable way to get some decent instruction and track time. Imagine going there with a bunch of MINIs, get your pulley installed and then being able to track the car to really appreciate the difference. Just a thought. Regards, Jim 2002 PS/B MCS |

| Everything is in the Midwest regional threads (http://www.mini2.com/forum/forumdisp...e=&forumid=602). Two threads in particular: The 2 Day Mid-Ohio HSD message has all the details on who to contact for the BMWCCA which is the one sponsoring the speed school at Nelson's in July. I'll have to go look up the dates for you.(http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...threadid=28824) Also see "Cheap Day at Nelson Ledges" (http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...threadid=29344) The more the merrier. | Sorry, I thought it was in Columbus.Cincinnati is just too far(too boring a drive) from Medina Cty. Oh.I'll be interested to hear feedback after the install. Thanks again. |

| No go for me either. I just can't justify tossing my warranty out just yet since this is my daily driver. As this is the first production year of a new model I don't want to give my dealer any excuse to deny service should the tranny or something else fail just because thy can point at the pulley as the possible culprit. I'll be making most every other mod that leaves the warranty intact. Once the mileage gets higher and the warranty isn't such a concern I'm there. I might just make the road trip though to meet Randy in person. Nice guy. Please let me know how it goes for you. Thanks again and good luck, Jim 2002 PS/B MCS |
