cat backs

ok folks,

I'm getting an exhaust soon(i have a 2002 cooper(non s)), but i'm torn between these three: borla, magnaflow, and the one offered by minimania.

any suggestions? I'm most interested in quality, performance and sound. in that order.

If you want all three of those in one exhaust, you got to go with the 'Flow.

They are all three high quality, well known and respected brands. The quality is comparable on all three and the performance gain is also comparable, with minor variations (+/- 2hp). The main issues and the most important choices are sound and appearance. This is of course very subjective and your personal preferences may differ from other peoples. Of course this is only my opinion.

I have a Supersprint exhaust that I enjoy quite a bit on my Cooper. Just the right amount of sporty noise at WOT and not droning on the highway. As they say, your results may vary.

Good luck,

Peter

Magnex and HKS also offer great cat back systems, let me know if I can send you some details.

just wanted to thank everyone for the input.

i've actually decided to go with the helix catback. i wasn't aware of it till yesterday, but i live in philly and helix is about 10 mins from me, so it works out nicely.

thanks again
