So what is below the rear seats?

Heck, I wasn't too sure where to post these photos, but I'll do it here as there might be some possible performance implications. And then maybe not...

As some of you know, I fabricated a lifting aluminum deck to go in place of the rear seats. Since the deck is easily removable, I sometimes only use it when hauling stuff, or for show. I will carpet the area you see in the photos...

The first shot shows what it looks like with the seats all out, and two black covers, that are often mistaken as subs

I've been wanting to look under the covers to see what I would have access to, and today I finally did. That will be the next photo...

Before I'm asked, the complete removal of the rear seats, belts and corresponding hardware came in at 47 lbs...

To be honest, I didn't do much probing as my girlfriend was yelling "dinner!" But, I would guess that one is a sending unit to the fuel gauge...

And I believe Dynamat is a padding that obehave is using to muffle some of the sound of the MF exhaust...

So now that you know that the fuel tank is there, a full tank should help dampen the sound a little more

And, how much weight did the Dynamat add (heh)

Pepper White / Red Interior / Red Stripes / CVT

Talk is cheap 'cause supply exceeds demand.

Those are probably access covers to the fuel tank sending unit(for the feuel gauge) and to the fuel pump assembly. Usually that's all under one cover. Interesting.
