Smile Ok JCW's owners lets see those exhaust

My dealership had their demo done today and the exhaust is shooting out like its a cannon. They recon that's how it fits, I'm not too sure. I've seen a pic of the exhaust on bigs car and it looks nice and snugg.

So if you post a pic of your exhaust I'd be grateful.

Thanks

Mo

I’ve just checked it now funnily enough - read your review again, V.Good BTW, took me a while to get a feel for the works kit as well. It's not an instantaneous WOW, more a wooooOOOOOWWWW

Exhaust on the Silver S looks nicely fit. The one on the demo really stuck out, looked naff.

I said before to someone I am surprised it's not a cat back, no margin for error there, but with the 'cut-n-shut' 3/4 style it is, then although there's guidelines, you're still bound to get variation.

They didn't stick out much at all, certainly didn't look out of place.

As you said LMB nice and snugg. All the Works cars I've seen have been like that, suppose its not impossible for it to be a bit further out though.

I'll have to give them a copy of my instructions

It was the first conversion they'd done.

RVW,

My advise that you cut of about 1- 2 from the tailpipes before mounting the JCW endpieces. It really looks better as you don't see the ugly tailpipes. (my dealer did it for me).

Cheers,

M

Doh!

Odd then that you tie it up (so to speak) about 3/4 way down the pipe. Could have made it better than that surely?
