been making inquiries myself into tuning the one d's engine n depending on how much u wanna spend u can probably get around 120bhp, chipping it n upgrading the intercooler, exhaust, fuelling, boost optimisation, etc.

Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable.

Ok where can i find the upgrades? (like intercooler, exhaust etc...).

i found a 100hp chip. With the other tunes i can get only 120hp? I want to get 0-100km/h in 10s... Impossible mission?

i would say so! Chances are u will have to get custom made upgrades for your one D i.e. intercooler as no-one will make an intercooler for a mini D a custom intercooler will probably cost £500+ and will only increase bhp by about 5-10 as for the exhaust and air filter then a custom exhaust by the likes of powerflow will sort you out but the air filter will be another hard one as before with the intercooler no-one will make one for the diesel model!

Any particular reason why tuning a ONE D ? surely tuning a petrol ONE whould be cheaper and more effective? Or are you one of the mountain climber types "because it's there"? Suppose some people just like a challenge.

Don't under estimate diesels because diesels are actually much more tuning efficient than petrols! i.e. chip a diesel and you get a hell of alot more bhp and torque than chipping a normally aspirated car! only thing is there just aren't the tuning parts available yet but don't worry it wont be long before diesels are the new sporty car! Take a look at the golf GTtdi for example it out performs the petrol gti!

I don't see the problem tuning a diesel car. Cooper model is a lot expensive in petrol and u can get almost the same performances with a diesel one.

The major lack in Mini one D is the power.

p.s. yes i live in mountains

Yes it will out perform a petrol figures wise but the petrol will always have you top end speed! but you get a mini one or cooper on a good uphill and you will out pull them both! 3rd gear all the way to the top whilst they're dropping it to 2nd and using all that fuel! ;-)
