As per the FAQ on advertising, http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?f...q#faq_faq_comm you're not, so I've edited that portion of your message out, however it is useful that you've got pictures and such, and if someone were a sponsor, they could advertise. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball.
| ||||
So whats wrong with saying they can Pm me for the number?? As that isn't advertising unless I give the name of the shop and the number out. As it was them who brought it to my attention Cooper S : Dark silver, white roof

I'll check with the management and get back to you...but my feeling is there isn't a difference in advertising when you post all the info, and when you say talk to me and i'll give it to you. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball.

But if I say go to this shop and buy this product and it costs this much then I would class that as advertising. But as i only mention'd a product and if you would like to know more I can tell you where to call is just being helpfull. In my eyes anyway Cooper S : Dark silver, white roof

Waiting for people to ask, then answering is helping, pushing or promoting a product asking people to contact you for details is more selling/advertising. There's a fine line, but we must be equal with all sponsors/non sponsors in their treatment. Hope that makes sense/clears it up a bit.

No not really paul, just trying to be helpful. Don't think there is any sponsors who sell this item any way. you might want to start the thread again form my first post. But as no one is allowed to call I will find the info out myself. Cooper S : Dark silver, white roof

That makes no difference, just because they dont sell it, they do sell intakes/competing products. I'll close this thread off, as it's gone way off topic, and if you'd like to post it again, the please do so! (Third time lucky perhaps?!).

You can be helpful, you can even say where your brother works, it's all a case of saying 'contact me to find out' is what a commercial advertiser might say, where as if you post (like many have) saying I've been made aware of this kit by such and such a company by my brother, anyone got any experience etc. then that's fine. If someone asks where you can buy it, tell them.
