New JCW "S" owner

After 6 months of deliberating and reading various reports on here and elsewhere, I finally took the plunge and gave my Jan 03 MCS the "Works". Drove down from Newcastle to JCG (East Preston) on Tuesday and collected my car Wednesday PM. The service I received from Chris at JCG was second to none - BMW dealers could learn a thing or two from these people !!

A 760 mile round trip, a night in some jail they call "TravelLodge" and a Tuesday night out in a place they call "Bognor Regis" where everything shuts down at 10pm still couldn't detract from the elation.

I suppose I should give some sort of review on the car (after all if it were not for others reviews, I wouldn't have parted with my 3600 hard earned pounds) so here it goes :

The car is now what I thought it would be when I bought it in January - FANTASTIC !!
Don't get me wrong, this is no 911 or M3 CSL but it now has a heart to match it's soul. Yes, it is now a very expensive MINI (£22,000) but what can you compare it with for that price ? - Nothing !
Bye Bye Yo-Yo, Bye Bye Stumble, Bye Bye embarrasing traffic light moments involving spotty teens in XR3i's !

To summarise : Well worth it ladies and gents - if you are considering this, DO NOT WAIT ANY LONGER, get on the phone to JCG (or a BM dealer if you can find a good 'un and can't be bothered with the travel) and sell the family silver.

Now I know why I bought this car !

I second your comments about Chris at JCW I have had two cars done by them and both times the service has been fantastic
Glad to see you have seen the light and had the works. I`ve not regretted having mine done.
