Has anybody had any experience with different cams on the cooper S?

was just wondering if any of you have installed a cam, schrick cams specificly. When i get one, i will probly get the more radical cam that schrick makes. If you have one, your coments are very welcome.

I've played around a bit with the Promin cam (a German product made for them especially). It produced squat with the usual surrounding mods. Minimi s found the same thing. The conclusion is that you need the head work to make the 63m throttle body work to make the cam work to make the header work, etc. I'm almost there. By the way, you need to mod the piston tops and compression ratio and add larger exhaust valves to make the head work...

I also found the cam lobe max point on the stock cam comes very close to the rockers & shafts. What this means is a higher lift cam needs to have a smaller base circle.
