All these tuners! Which one to use?

Me and the missus are getting our new cooper S on the 1st march and i want to get to the 200bhp mark once the car has been properly run in! Only thing is there are so many tuners out there i dont know which one to go for! Travelling to the tuner is not a problem so i have a list of minisport, AMD, Graham Goode and BBR to go at. All of these companies do the job for around the £1000 mark so what i would like off everyone is which tuner i should go for!

The AmD OneClick is revertable back to standard, so with a modified stealth black pulley, you can set the car to standard when it goes back for servicing!

Here's the AmD Technik OneClick information flyer

Check mini2.com posts here and here for details

Hiya ram,

would you be able to elaborate on the 'stealth black pulley' like what it is and where one could purchase one? Thanks in advance,

Henry

Hi Henry,

We had an enquiry today about the availability of a black 55mm pulley - currently, we make them in aluminum silver.

If demand is great enough, we'll be able to offer both black and silver. At the moment, we're trying to gauge interest, although we can do "one-offs" in black if you need - I will confirm one-off pricing next week.
  • A belt and pulley is $135.00 + S&H (Aluminum silver)
  • The AmD “no-damage, no-destroy” pulley tool is $225.00 + S&H and is used to remove the standard pulley and install the modified pulley click HERE for the instruction manual

Best wishes,

Ram
