White Cooper FItting Aftermarket Parts

I have a simple question regarding fitting aftermarket parts.... should I wait until the break in period is over to fit them? Ive got AmD stage one, Alta CAI, and Borla exhaust.

I didn't and I'm not alone in that regard.
I waited almost 1K just to make sure the car wasn't a lemon and then had at it. Others have done mods under 100 miles.

The choice is really yours though.

I would wait till after the break in period because you are not supposed to drive it fast anyways. It was the hardest thing to baby the car for the first 1,200 miles, I can't imagine doing it with all those tempting mods on it

Yea, its bad enough that I have to wait 3.5 months (2.5 NOW!!) to get the damn car, but then I I have to baby it for 1200 miles.... maybe Ill just get the car.... drive 600 miles away... and turn around . I guess you are right about there not being much point in installing the mods before I break it in... plus I will get a better feel for the car and see how much the mods improve performance this way.
