United-Kingdom Playmini vs Milltek

Hi,
Am looking at getting new exhaust fitted for my MCS. I have narrowed the choice down to
Playmini £395 or Milltek £370

What would you suggest I go for and why ......

Thanks

Perm

Hi Perm
I'm close to buying a new exhaust as well, and it's definitely going to be one of these two. I don't know if you saw it, but Baradona organised a group buy for the Milltek a little while ago(if you search the forums you'll find the thread easily enough) so there are a few new Milltek owners on here who could give you their opinions on that exhaust.
Regarding the Playmini, have you seen Paul Mullett's vid of him driving around the country roads of MK? Although the sound's not brilliant, it does give you a good idea of what it would sound like in everyday driving.
I've never heard a Milltek in action, but I know you get a lot of snap, crackle and pop from the Playmini!
I want something that does a lot of the above, but I also want it to cause minimal extra noise in the cabin when cruising. From what I've heard, both of these exhausts fit the bill.

Hello...

I was one of the buyers on Adams (baradona) group buy.... we paid £329 for the system (unfitted)....

I've not really heard the Playmini in anger, but I adore the noise my Miltek makes... relatively un-noticable around town, but when you boot it you get a glorious howl, I've still not yet tired of that !!! ....

I felt that once fitted my S became much more responsive, I definately felt the standard system was restrictive....

On the recent heartbeat run, i got a few comments from people that had followed me, asking what system i had fitted, becasue they loved the sound...

Hope that helps !!!

Thanks all for your comments.

Andy, I assume that you have the Milltek exhaust and not the manifold. Is that correct ?

Are you using the Milltek exhaust on the standard manifold ?

Cheers

Perm

Is the Milltek exhaust easy to fit ? Can I trust a "normal" exhuast centre to fit ?
