Belgium Help needed on big brakes kit with S-spoke (R85)

Hi everyone, one of my first post here .. Read a lot but post not much.
Apologise in advance for my poor english.
So my problem is the following, i've got a works S and do a lot of track days with the Club-nouvelle_mini (hope to see some of you in switzerland). It's also my only car and so i use it also (most of time) on the road day to day. I've bought a set of teamdynamics Pro rally 17, put some S03 on it, and for now i've the S-spoke R85 17" with wintertires on them (bought this winter, my runflats were down at about 20000 kms). I plan to put some AP racing 4 callipers because the brakes fadding is dramatic on the tracks... but if they are ok for teamdynamics, no way they can go in the S-spoke... So, i need my car in winter too, and i can't swap tires every 6 month on the rims, i swap only the rims. As someone an idea if it exists a big brake kit that fits in the S-lite. Only changes disks ( same diameter), oil, flex seems a bit week for track.
Oh one important thing, money.. got about 1200 euro for all the conversion.. not much..
Thanx already for your help...
Cypher

I have S Spokes and have Winner Power 6 pots calipers with 310mm crossed drilled and slotted discs on front and 310mm crossed drilled and slotted discs on the rear ( using the existing caliper)

i assume its the clearance from the caliper to the inside front of the wheel is why they wont fit . I had a similar problem . The discs ive used are thicker than the standard ones (the bell is thicker where the wheel studs fit) and i had to use a 5 mm spacer and longer wheel bolts ( standard ones are 25mm i had to use 35mm ones). With this i have approx 4 mm clearance from the front of my caliper to the inside front of my S Spokes . They have been on a month now and no problems .

I have seen Minis with a 25mm spacer on them and i think the BBR 275bhp car has 25mm spacers with S Spokes but that has Brembo 4 pots on .
Also AmD Uk's Mini has Brembo 4 pots on and they said it doesnt need spacers and i have seen it but the clearance is very close .
A company called Hi Spec do a slimline 4 pot

http://www.hispecmotorsport.co.uk/

Might be worth checking them out .
But i think with most big brake conversions , spacers may be needed
Hope ive been a little help

Thanks for you responses .
I've mailed Hispec to see if it will fit. By the way the AP brakes fits with a 25 mm spacer so seems logical for the BBR car if they used 25 mm, AP could fit in. For 25 seems enormous.. Does it not cause to axes, "rotules" (don't know the word) so problems?
I've see also that JCW is coming with some upgrades.. Hope he ll makes something that goes in without changing rims..
When i get some info from hispec, give you back.
If you someone get other info, i stay tuned
Thanks a lot,
cypher

Hi Cypher,
You might want to consider the JCW brake duct and throat kit to improve on brake cooling.

UUC big brake kit fits OEM 17'' S lite wheels. They are very good and the price is right.
$1000 for the front kit, $1200 including rears.
I know somebody using them and very happy with the performance.

Thanks Fab, i've checked their website but no way to see price and make an order?
Also it seems quite difficult to send the kit in here (belgium). Do they export outside US?
A local or may be England dealer? Ive send an e-mail to Hispec, no response so far...
Hum quite difficult, the only one i'm sure and "easy" to have is the brembo but much much dear. Too dear in fact. .. Only get 3 weeks left before first track day, my OEM pads and disks are out, so it's becoming a bit dangerous in the shape to do tracks.. and have to buy now rotors and pads that i ll kill back in 2 month for nothing hum not tempting .

I am sooooo re-opening this thread....

Ok, so Mini Challenge racecar. AP Racing big ***** brakes with 330mm discs. I have a couple of sets of the Borbett 17x7.5 wheels but putting together a rally spareas package and the regs limit me to 17x7.

A set of S Spokes has come up for sale for practically nothing. Reading this I'm considering going with spacers and seeing if they fit. Otherwise eBay here they come.

Anyone have any further advice??
