Smaller Supercharger Pully RPM

Looking at the data from the BMW Power Train article and information from the Eaton site it looks like the blower turns at 14317rpm at 6950rpm engine max cut-off. What rpm will the blower turn with the smaller pully units used to boost hp. My guess is >16k. Won't this wear out the blower much sooner? What about blower warrenty? Eaton states"With helical rotors and an axial inlet the Eaton supercharger can be spun to up to 14,000 rpm",
How much over-design have they built in?

Welcome to MINI2

I've read that the Eaton M45 can be spun up to 17,200 rpm:

http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...=19122&start=0

The OEM supercharger is only covered by the MINI warranty (4 years or 50,000 miles in the US). The only supercharger with a reduction pulley covered under the MINI warranty is the one in the JCW Kit.

The amount a reduction pulley will reduce the life of the supercharger? I guess that depends on how heavy your foot is
