Play Mini Centre Exit exhaust for One / Cooper

I've been bouncing emails with Play Mini about the possibility of producing a centre exit exhaust for the One / Cooper.

Basically, it would just have a single silencer hanging in the existing location, but would require cutting of the heat shield for the centre exit and also centre exit valance, e.g. Cooper S one fitted.

Quicksilver already do a single silencer exhaust that will fit on a One / Cooper like explained above.. however it is expensive, £380 + VAT.

Play Mini said they may entertain the idea of making one if they got at least 25 people willing to make a deposit for one before they start the development work. Unfortunately they can't give an idea of price until development work is completed.

So, I'm just looking for a show of hands / posts to get an idea of who would be interested and what sort of price people would be willing to pay for one, bearing in mind current play mini prices for a Cooper / One exhaust, it would cost a bit more I guess due to the extra bends etc.

So please post a reply if you're interested with price willing to pay and preferred tailpipe design.

Wouldn't the spare tyre carrier get in the way? I've got an S so I can't look underneath and see.

Yes, the spare tyre cover would need to be cut a bit or removed.
