Blue flame ... yes they are well know for bike exhausts and personal friends have had custom ones made to make their motocrossers street legal and had top class service.
As far as the MINI exhaust it looks like very similar to this
Its exactly the same exhaust minisport sell, in the catalogue it even says developed in conjunction with blueflame.
I bought one off ebay the other day - at a considerable saving over the minisport price. Arrived the day after I paid for it. Looks cool and really well made, hoping to fit it today - will post a review later.
Sorry guys, its taken me a while to remember about this thread, and I havent got any pics with me. Will try to do some this week.
Couple of quick comments about the exhaust.
Its beautiful, as long as you arent planning on driving in stealth mode - its VERY LOUD. I have got the db killer baffles out just now, but I will try them back in later in the week.
Only complaint I have is about the quality of the supplied rear valance. Its sh*t, but I am going to buy a Mini One one (and the arches) and cut my own out. Once I have done that I will post pics and plans for people to do it to. It costs about 39 quid for the parts from your dealer.
I will do a proper review and post by the weekend with some pics.
Martin, did you do it? how did it turn out, I also bought one of these and the plastic piece is sort of crappy, I'm wondering how your's went with the mini one.. and also how loud is it, or was there powere loss with the baffles?
I'm looking for some reviews on this exhaust? How's the sound level with and without the DD silencer part and what does it look like and how easy is it to install and take off? Is there a difference in performance with the DD silencer installed? I'm not looking for a loud exhaust. Please compare to performance and sound level to Stock being quietest to Miltek and Magnaflow being loudest. What's wrong w/ the supplied rear valence?
