Best place to buy a K&N Typhoon kit

Just wondering what the best price is for a K&N Typhoon air filter kit in the UK. Any web sites / phone numbers would be much appreciated.

I have just ordered one from here www.motorsportworld.co.uk

The guy I spoke to said it should fit a 05 Cooper S, only hope he is right I am waiting for an email from K&N to see if there is any difference between the 05 model and the previous model. Will let you know.

Oh and most importantly I paid £174.23 inc p&p + VAT

Hi

K&N have just sent me an email back and they say the f Typhoon kit should fit as there has not been any changes under bonnet to effect the fitment.

I looked on ebay and there is one seller at the moment think it was £195 plus £10 p&p

anyway hope this helps.

Just wish my new Cooper S was here got to wait until November I traded my 01 Cooper so am now carless oh well give me time to save for some new bits......

I had already bought the K&N Typhoon when I saw the MINISpeed filter. Looking at it, it seems to be basically a copy of K&N's Typhoon range.

I have read a few posts who also recommend the Alta Filter.

Suppose if they all do the same job then you can save a few quid. It's a bit like do you buy the latest designer stuff or go out and but something that works equally as well but unbranded.

Try reading a few reviews of each kit if you can find them.

Blueflame do a nice cold air kit but dont know how much.
