Enough rumors - JCW stuff or coming or not?

Enough-this probably is a stupid question that half of you know, but I must find out for myself. Is the new Works hardware such as the seats, suspension, and brakes going to cross the pond into the US ?(besides the air filter). I have talked to many people and they have said both yes and no.

The new kits haven't even made it onto their website yet, never mind another country!

(well the new Cooper kit isn't on there anyway!)

Door sills are already available here. They look good on Greta.

you might be intrested in knowing I placed an order for the engine upgrade kit (10hp)
on october 15th thru my dealer, he said the parts will arrive in two weeks and had a part number for them. I called today to get a confirmation and he was unable to give one. I did recieve an email from cooper works in england a few days back telling me the ecu set up will not be ready for our market untill the begining of next year!
so your guess is as good as mine. I wished I wasn t a horse power junkie, life would be much simpler! mean while I might add a larger TB this weekend more responsive throttle response is always nice....

This kind of confirms what my service advisor told me a couple of weeks ago. I guess January will be the earliest the US will get the 10hp upgrade kit.

Strut brace is coming as are a few other parts in the catalog, like carbon fiber hood scoop and boot handle.

I have the sill plates in my car and they were easy to order and install. I don't have the part number off-hand but I'll see if I can dig it up. You can order them through any U.S. MINI dealer.
