Urgent Help Needed Trying To Fit S Exhaust To Cooper!!

Hi,

Me and my Dad have been trying to fit an S Exhaust for the last 2 days now. After following instuctions from someone on here who claimed to have done it himself. We only got as far as putting it all on only to find out that there is a big piece of metal hanging down stopping it from being the right poistion. Heres a picture of it ive just taken here:

Not only that but theres also no way we can see at all of even hanging the bracket for the left back box from. Without any kind of modification anyway. Anyone done this modification and can help me out as were really stuck now. Failing this how much would it cost for a decent exhaust place to sort it out and get it on correctly do you reckon? Really stuck on this so any input would be greatly appreciated.

I had never heard that this could easily be done. I have seen a cheap new center exit exhaust for the Cooper, but it was stateside so I don't think it will help. Sorry to hear about your troubles and I hope you get it sorted quickly!
