better airfiter , on a supercharged engine? what difference?

Hi All

had my DS MCS since JUL 04

lookin at replacing air filter, I understand the increase in bhp etc but how does this happen
on a supercharged engine? surley thats what the s charger is doing anyway????

oh and I found this link looks interesting..........http://www.hicloneqld.com/

I`m looking to do this to get better fuel economy first and foremost.

A filter alone doesn't make a real difference. Installing an induction kit will. Basically by freeing up the flow path for incoming air. More air = more boost. Not a drastic difference.

That little swirly thing won't make a damn bit of difference in a supercharged engine. Nor any other probably.
